Attorney Lynette Perez to Run for Judson ISD Board

Juvenile and Child Welfare Attorney Lynette Perez has recently filed to run for Trustee of the Judson Independent School District.  She is seeking the District 7 position that is currently and open seat and is one of two position elected district wide.

"In many ways this is coming full circle.  The first job I ever had when I moved to Converse in 2008 was as a substitute teacher for the Judson ISD.  I worked for the district for four years, including my years in law school.  After becoming a juvenile and child welfare attorney, I've remained active in the district by serving as the Coach of the Judson High School Mock Trial team for the past three years.  I also have one grandchild currently attending school in this district.  I can think of no better way to continue serving the interests of the next generation of my immediate community."

Lynette Perez received her bacherlors degree from the University of Notre Dame and a masters degree in Public Administration cum laude from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.  She received her law degree from St. Mary's University School of Law where she served as both a staff writer and editor of the St. Mary's Law Journal and was one of 10 in her graduating class inducted into the National Order of Barristers.  Lynette Perez is a former trustee of the United States Naval Academy.
